How do we convey acceptance, caring, and genuine interest to people whose verbal skills are diminished so that they feel safe and willing to cooperate? Through video and a lecture demonstration, this program will offer a brief overview at the many ways we express ourselves through movement so that people with dementia experience genuine connection and pleasure, rather than isolation, loneliness, and abandonment.
